About Me

I’m Victoria Hungerford. You can find me across the web under the various handles: imthetori, victoriahford, southinkimspooky, lovesforpoets & tuecoute. Some handles I use more than others.

I graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a double major in Feminist Studies and Black Studies. While at UCSB I was highly active on the newspaper, The Bottom Line, as the Web Editor, contributed heavily to the online multimedia and video journalism of the paper. I also was part of an amazing team of creatives–The AS/KCSB Media Center. During my time we created a student produced, created, directed documentary for the Students known as “Our University” This documentary revolved around student response towards the UC budget cuts and protests.

This also earned us a nomination for best AS special project.

I currently run and maintain a in-beta video game multimedia journal that is player to player reviewed known as Out of Hp. We are in the beginning and on the tip of greatness.

I also am a wedding video editor and dabble in cinematography, web design and graphic design.

I will be currently attending California Institute of the Arts in September 2012, in which I will be getting my Master of Arts in Aesthetics and Politics.

My goal is to obtain a PhD in Feminist Studies, and explore the relationship between gender, race, online identity and video games.
